Tree Care Gallery
Here’s a start to finish example of how our trained tree surgeons go about taking down trees, removing branches and dealing with the timber afterwards.
- The tree on arrival at Worthing , West Sussex
- Sections of the crown start to be lowered safely to the ground.
- Larger pieces are now removed by the tree surgeon and lowered by the groundsman.
- Working at this height is very dangerous and should only be done by skilled professionals.
- The crown now removed, the main trunk begins to come down.
- A large piece of the stem is about to be removed!
- The piece is gently eased away from the climber to be caught by the lowering line for descent to the ground.
- Sawdust rains down as the crown break is removed. Notice the double ropes for added safety.
- The tree ‘sticked’, the climber now decends to fell the remainder in a single action.
- The trunk safely on the ground the tree surgeon now cuts the logs into managable pieces to load the truck.
